Story
In April my good friend Pete was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel and bone cancer.
Over the last 4 month's Pete has been sharing the physical, mental and emotional rollercoaster that his diagnosis has quickly put him on.
Pete is/was a big runner, so this one's for him and all who have been, and continue to be deeply affected by the big C.

The event: 1 hilly lap of Windermere taking in some of the big trig points on route such as Wansfell Pike and Loughrigg.
75km; 2500m ascent; 1 day (looking at around 12-14 hours). Lot's of running, lot's of hiking and mostly likely a lot of swearing about the pain I'll be in!
