Story
Hi everyone,
My name is Becky, and I’m 13 years old. For the last 2.5 years, I’ve been incredibly lucky to be supported by the amazing team at The Jack Hazeldine Foundation (JHF). They’ve helped me grow in confidence, make lasting friendships, and discover a place where I truly belong.
Now, I want to give back to JHF and help them continue to make a difference for others like me. Their computer screen recently stopped working, and they need a new one for their programs and activities. With your help, I want to raise £400 to buy them a replacement!
My Story with JHF
I first found out about JHF through my primary school teacher, who suggested I join their transition program when I was nervous about moving to secondary school. At first, I was really scared to try something new, but I’m so glad I did.
JHF made starting secondary school so much easier! I got to visit my new school early, make friends with other kids before term started, and feel less alone.
The JHF tutors are incredible. I look up to them so much because they’re always there to help, whether I’m struggling with bullying, finding the right words, or just need someone to listen. They’ve inspired me to want to help others when I’m older.
Why We Need Your Help
JHF does so much for kids and families, but their resources are limited. The computer screen they use for their projects, lessons, and community work broke, and they urgently need a replacement. Without it, they can’t run some of the activities that make such a big difference for us.
Every penny you donate will go directly to JHF to buy the new screen they need. Together, we can make sure they continue to be the lifeline they’ve been for me and so many others!
Thank you!
With love,
Becky ❤️
(Should a screen be sourced through a donation, all funds will still be transferred to JHF to support their amazing work)
