As an anesthesiology and pain medicine doctor, it would be a meaningful challenge to be able to run a marathon as part of a Spinal Research.

Globally, between 250,000 and 500,000 people experience a spinal cord injury (SCI) each year. Living with an SCI often means a lifetime of health and care costs, as well as the threat of secondary healthcare complications.

Spinal Research is the leading medical charity focused on the repair and restoration of the spinal cord, and we exist to beat paralysis.

Spinal Research do not receive governmental funding; all projects are funded by donations.
