Hey You!

Thanks for popping over to see what Jigsaw Counselling is all about! Here’s why I am doing a charity sea dip (in chilly NI waters) to raise funds for their vital services!

This charity is headed by the most wonderful lady, Carol. Carol (apart from being one of the brightest, bubbliest and actually hilarious people you could meet!) is the founder of Jigsaw-a service providing counselling throughout the local community via their hub and schools programmes.

As a teacher, I was lucky enough to see the life-changing opportunities Jigsaw provides for children through school counselling provision and therapy sessions for those who need it. Not only does Jigsaw work to reach the youngest in the community but they also provide counselling services to those who simply can’t afford to wait on NHS lists or pay for private sessions.

Jigsaw aims to provide a positive first interaction for those considering counselling as a route to help progress their personal circumstances.

The incentive of this charity means a lot to me having experienced the benefit a counselling journey can bring to somebody when they need to reach out.
