Firstly, I’d like to thank you for taking the time to visit my page.

My chosen charity is Alzheimer’s Research UK, which is very close to my heart.

My sister-in-law, Anne, is unfortunately suffering from this horrible disease. While she is facing this daily battle, the impact on the whole family is huge. My amazing brother Richard looks after her 24/7 and does such a wonderful job. They live far away, which makes it even harder for me and my sister Jen to help as much as we’d like.

Sadly, I know so many people affected by this devastating condition. Recently, we lost a truly beautiful lady, Hilary, who was always so supportive. I feel blessed to have spent time with her in December, and while I was there, I realised I needed to do something to help.

So with that in mind, I’ve decided to take on another ultra challenge: I will be walking 100km (62.3 miles) continuously. This could take 24 hours or more, but I’m determined to push myself to raise as much as possible for this incredible cause.
