My husband (Brad) and myself have decided we want to raise money to donate to Overgate Hospice in memory of my Grandma, Susan Lawrence, by doing something together we love, challenging ourselves with an adventure in the mountains.

My Grandma was very caring and creative, she dedicated a lot of time to supporting her family and was always proud to spend time with us. She always had a new craft project on the go and was an inspiring lady with her many talents. She absolutely loved the precious time she had with her great grandchildren. Sadly my grandma passed away at the start of this year.

Overgate Hospice expertly cared for my Grandma in her last week of life. They were compassionate and caring, making a very hard week for our family bearable knowing Grandma was in the best care. By raising some money we hope they can continue to offer family's the same support we and my Grandma had.

On the 19th July we plan to summit all the Welsh mountains over 3000 feet in 12 hours. This involves 15 summits, 50km and just over 3000m of ascent (with the support of my parents for childcare and snacks!). We will start by summiting Snowdon and go along the sharp edge ridge of Crib Goch, then down to the valley for breakfast. Then over the steep and rocky Glyders followed by a scramble up Tryfan and down to Ogwen Valley for lunch. The final ascent will be up onto the Carneddau along the high plateau, dropping down to Aber Falls to finish.
