Christmas is such a tricky time of year for many - and although homelessness is a year round problem - the bleakness of a UK winter, the cold dark nights and the contrast with festive cheer gleaming out from shops and houses right now makes it an even harder time for those who have lost their way and their jobs and homes.

I suddenly felt that a short campaign to raise some funds to help was what I wanted to do - and in one of the ways I know how - by taking photos of lovely willing people - this time with my cheeky little Elvis Elf!
