Story
I’m proud to be running the Victoria Park Half Marathon to raise money for the ELFT Charity, a cause close to my heart. Since immigrating from South Africa 6.5 years ago, East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) has been more than just my employer, it’s become a second home.
Through working here, I’ve seen first-hand the dedication, compassion, and community spirit that makes this Trust so special. Taking on this race is my way of giving back to the organisation that welcomed me and continues to make a real difference to the lives of local people.
The ELFT Charity funds innovative projects that go above and beyond what the NHS can typically provide, whether it's supporting mental health initiatives, wellbeing activities or creating welcoming spaces for patients & staff. Every pound raised helps to support ideas that bring lasting, positive change.
Thank you so much for any support you can give, it truly means a lot.
