Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are fundraising as a memorial for Jim Holden who passed away on Sunday 2nd August 2026 as the result of a tragic accident in the Lakes.

Keswick Mountain Rescue, along with Cockermouth Mountain Rescue and Great North Air Ambulance all attended to help but despite their best efforts Jim succumbed to his injuries.

The family are all so grateful for their assistance and support.

If you would like to join us in making a donation to one of these wonderful organisations that exist only through donations please do so in Jim’s memory.

The Lakes were both Jim and Noreen’s happy place and one that holds many memories of family holidays when we were little.

With love, Noreen, Catherine, Claire, Robert, Caroline and all the grandchildren.
