Jim King is raising money for Palace for Life Foundation

Bike from Bournemouth · 18 April 2025 to 19 April 2025 ·

This Easter, Palace fans are cycling 120-miles from Vitality Stadium to Selhurst Park, arriving to cheer on the Eagles at home against the Cherries, while raising vital funds for the Foundation’s work with young people in south London.

Story

On April 18th and 19th, I’ll be cycling 120 miles from Bournemouth to Croydon to raise vital funds for the Palace for Life Foundation for the fourth year ridiing through the punishing Surrey Hills not to mention Dorset and Hampshire

Now you will be forgiven for thinking I said last year would be my swansong because I did but my eldest daughter Penny said she would like to do it too and I couldn't refuse my "little girl" especially as we bought her a second hand road bike for Christmas

If you can support me for this fantastic charity that would be great be that moral or financial

Growing up in south London has never been tougher, but through the work of Palace for Life, we have the opportunity to drive positive change. They work in schools and communities, inspiring young people to choose better paths and lead healthier lives. Your donations will directly support their work, creating real impact for real people.

Here’s how your support can make a difference:

£5 could provide a child with sensory support through a set of ear defenders.

£25 could fund an hour-long employability coaching session for a young person.

£35 could buy new, smart shoes for a young person starting their first job.

£58 could buy an under-16 a passport, opening up new opportunities.

Every donation helps make a tangible impact on the lives of young people in south London.

Thank you for your support!
