A team of fearless riders to take on the 'Pyrenees Pursuit' with Discover Adventure in aid of Youth Talk. Cycling from Carcassonne to Barcelona, through the Pyrenees these cyclists are going the distance to raise money for our local young people.

Story

Youth Talk’s mission is to empower the next generation, by giving them access to the best possible mental health support in St Albans and the surrounding areas. It's important for there to be a safe, trustworthy, calm and professional environment for young people to feel comfortable in and share whatever is on their mind. Simply by taking that first step and contacting Youth Talk, our young people have already shown great courage and begun their journey towards discovering a happy and fulfilling future.

Youth Talk currently has approx. 100 young people every week visiting our offices for F2F counselling. Many others have found the strength to contact us, and as a result, our waiting list has now lengthened to 5 months.

We need to double our service to help meet this demand and ensure we give all these remarkable young people the opportunity to fulfil their potential.

Thanks to your donations and support of my fundraising – Youth Talk can continue to provide local young people with one-to-one counselling support as they look to discover a positive future for themselves.

I am also happy to announce that a very good friend of mine has very generously agreed to match fund your donations up to my target of £2500.

I hope this short video gives you a small taste of what's ahead of the team taking on this challenge
