I'm participating in a Strictly Come Dancing competition to raise funds for Calums Cabin.

Having never danced before, and knowing I have to perform in front of several hundred people, and judges, I can honestly say that this is the most terrifying thing I have attempted to do.

Fortunately, I have been paired with a wonderful professional dancer called Pamela, who not not only will be my dance partner throughout the event, she has the unenviable task of trying to teach me how to dance.

Anything you are able to donate to this wonderful cause is truly appreciated, and will be greatly received by Calum's Cabin.

Now a bit about Calum's Cabin.

Calums Cabin is a purpose built beautiful countryside retreat situated on the Isle of Bute. Designed and equipped to the highest of standards, the self-catering accommodation offers peace and tranquillity for children suffering from cancer and their family, while making memories that will stay with them all forever.

Calums Cabin also run a number of flats, which allows families that don't live nearby to stay together while a child is receiving cancer treatment in Glasgow.
