I had an amazing experience hiking the Three Passes trek in Nepal and loved both the wonderful landscape and its people, who live, work and farm in an unforgiving and rapidly changing environment.

Global Action Nepal do lots of great work to help widen access to and improve the quality and relevance of basic school education in Nepal, so running the marathon for GAN seems an excellent way to give back to this amazing country.

I'll be running the London Marathon on the day of my 30th birthday, so it seems a perfect way to mark this milestone. And if I beat my cousin's time, that'd be an added bonus!
