Story
The Conway family would like to raise money for Marie Curie in memory of Jim Waring, a much loved and missed Dad and Grandad (Poppa). Marie Curie nurses helped us care for Dad and ensure he stayed at home in his last weeks. Their care and advice was invaluable and they were with us through some hard days and dark nights.
Marie Curie nurses, doctors and frontline staff work night and day in our Belfast Hospice and in peoples homes right across Northern Ireland providing expert clinical care for patients and much needed respite, comfort and reassurance for families, carers and loved ones.
The money that is raised helps Marie Curie Nurses provide vital care and support to people with terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.
£23 could pay for one hour of vital nursing care for someone living with a terminal illness in the comfort of their own home
£92 could help fund four hours of nursing care in a person's home when they need it most.
