🚲 Pedal for Cadel: Penarth & Risca to Tewkesbury & Back 🚲

This September (5th–6th), nine brave MAMILs (Middle-Aged Men in Lycra!) and one back up driver are taking on an epic cycling challenge from Penarth and Risca all the way to Tewkesbury and back over the weekend. This will involve lots of hills and obviously getting lost a few times. 150 miles and 10,000 ft of climbing.
We are riding in loving memory of my nephew Cadel Edwards Davies, who tragically passed away this May. He was only 18 when he passed but packed a lot into those years including working for Pedal Power.
Cadel meant the world to all of us. Following his passing, the incredible charity 2Wish provided amazing, compassionate support to Cadel’s family and friends during this most difficult time.
2Wish is a child and young adult bereavement charity that works tirelessly to ensure no family has to face the sudden loss of a young person alone. As a huge thank you for the vital support they gave, we want to give something back so they can continue helping others in their time of need.
If you would like to sponsor the riders: Every donation, big or small is greatly appreciated and makes a massive difference. It will keep our legs pedalling up those hills!
Please share this post to help us spread the word and raise as much awareness as possible for 2Wish.
Thank you so much for your support, generosity, and helping us with this ride for Cadel 💙
