Why we’re running the Manchester Half Marathon (dressed as a caterpillar!)

What started out as a joke has quickly spiralled into reality… This October, Matt, Jimmy, Andrew and Eddie will be lining up at the start of the Manchester Half Marathon in a four-person caterpillar costume.

We’re not just doing it for laughs though – we’re going after a Guinness World Record! 🏆

The current record for the “Fastest Half Marathon in a Four-Person Costume” is 1 hr 41 min 37 sec, set in June 2022 by a group from Denmark (also as a caterpillar). Our goal? To smash that record with a time between 1 hr 15 – 1 hr 20.

It’s going to be tough, hot, and probably a little ridiculous – but all in aid of a brilliant cause. Any donations, big or small, will give us even more motivation to dig deep and bring the record home.
