Story
On 12 July 2026, I will be swimming one mile across the Camel Estuary, from Padstow to Rock, to raise money to help Marie Curie Nurses continue to care for people at the end of life, whatever their illness.
Since the swim started, my father, Mike Hewitt, had been a committee member of the swim and an avid supporter of the event.
Sadly, following a cancer diagnosis, he passed away in 2025 so I will be taking part in the memory of my father.
All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.
Thank you for your support.
Thank you so much for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
