Story
The Lucy Faithfull Foundation is a UK-wide child protection charity founded in the 1980s that works to stop child sexual abuse. It works tirelessly with offenders and potential offenders, seeks to influence government policy, and provides support to victims and their families.
As many of you know, the foundation's work is and will remain very close to my heart.
This year I have pledged to run the 10km round trip up Wolstonbury Hill each day for the month of September to raise money for the foundation. As the new school term continues apace, this will be a significant challenge (absolute slog) and is designed to represent the ceaseless trudge 'back to the top of the hill' faced by those burdened with the legacy of abuse.
Please donate generously, and support this vital work by the charity.
