Mount Snowdon Challenge · 6 June 2026 ·

We are an award winning small charity supporting people and families affected by dementia in Rossendale, Lancashire. We work with families to increase wellbeing and support people living with dementia to live the life they choose. We provide activities at our Beacon Shed, info hub & community events

Story

We’re taking on a sponsored walk to raise money for a fantastic local dementia charity that provides vital support within our community.

The challenge:

J&J set out to undertake Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales and the 2nd highest in the UK and we are going to concur it! We will do a circular route starting and finishing in Llanberis. It is around 12 miles with 1139m of elevation. Which is equivalent of around 4 Eiffel Towers!

About the charity:

The charity works to support and empower people living with dementia, their carers, and anyone who may be feeling lonely or isolated. Through their work, they help people stay connected, enrich their lives, and enhance their wellbeing.

Dementia affects so many families, and the support these organisations provide can make a real difference to people’s day-to-day lives. As a local business, we’re proud to support a cause that brings comfort, companionship and understanding to those who need it most.

Any donation, big or small, will help this important work continue and will be hugely appreciated. Thank you for your support.
