On Saturday 23 May 2026 we will be climbing Snowdon to raise money for St Nicholas Hospice who are JKH's charity of the year for 2026.

St Nicholas Hospice provides care and support throughout West Suffolk and Thetford. This may be at their hospice site in Bury St Edmunds or at someone's home, through their Community Team.

St Nic’s supports thousands of local people. Hospice support is there not just for patients, but for their families and friends too, offering everything from specialist medical and bereavement care to practical help.

It costs around £9.5 million a year to run the Hospice services. That’s equivalent to £26,000 per day. Even with statutory funding support, they face a daily shortfall of £18,000. This gap must be filled through fundraising, retail, legacies, and other income sources.
