We've been lucky enough to be invited to accompany OVAID on a trip to Borneo in November specially organised by Orangutan Odysseys to see the amazing work OVAID is doing. We’re NOT asking for donations to pay for our trip, we’ve paid for that ourselves.

The purpose of this trip is to increase awareness of the threat of extinction facing orangutans because of the destruction of their rainforest habitat and to raise funds to help orangutans. Orangutan Odysseys tours have raised of $1m since 2011 to help support the orangutan’s survival.

All the money you give will go towards much-needed medicines and equipment for the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF) and Centre for Orangutan Protection (COP) rescue centres and their remote release stations, and to support the ongoing training of the Indonesian vets.

Each participant has been asked to raise at least £900 for OVAID. Two of us are going so we’ve doubled that and added a bit. Thank you for reading and please do help us to help them by donating whatever you can. Your donation WILL make a difference in helping save orangutans’ lives.
