Story

Im hiking in memory of my Dad , Francis Brizland , who was diagnosed with fronto temporal dementia & PPA in 2009 & died in 2012. Without the support of our charitys CEO Sally Ferris & manager Claire Marrett , we would have found it even harder. Thats why i work for this amazing charity & why i know first hand how vital good support is on this hard journey . Im not in the best of fitness following spinal surgery & have constant pain but im doing it ! So please help me make it worthwhile by donating to the charity i love

On Saturday 8th August, we’re taking on the Derbyshire 3 Peaks Challenge – a 33km trek across Kinder Scout, Bleaklow and Higher Shelf Stones in the Peak District.

It’s a tough day of walking, with over 900m of ascent and long stretches of exposed moorland, but we’re doing it to raise vital funds for Together Dementia Support.

Together Dementia Support works across Manchester to support people living with dementia and their carers. Our work helps families navigate what can often be a very difficult and overwhelming time.

Every donation helps us continue being there for the people who need us most.

Im trying to raise a£500 - Your support will make a real difference to local families living with dementia.
