Jo and Rob's fundraiser for Down's Syndrome Scotland

Jo Davidson is raising money for Down's Syndrome Scotland

Scotlands Big Zipslide · 16 August 2026 ·

Our vision is that society fully accepts and includes people with Ds. We support families and people with Ds to reach their fullest potential by providing a range of services, influencing public policy and by changing attitudes. We urgently need funding to help families who are struggling right now.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit mine and Rob's JustGiving page. I am excited (I think...) to share that Rob and I will be completing Scotland's Big Zipslide on August 16, 2026, to support Down's Syndrome Scotland. Since joining this small, yet incredible team in July 2025, I have witnessed first hand the amazing work that is carried out every day to empower people with Down's syndrome and their families. The charity's vision is to have a society that fully values and includes people with Down's syndrome, and your support can help make this a reality.

Down’s Syndrome Scotland is the only charity in Scotland dedicated solely to supporting people with Down’s syndrome and their families and carers. We provide vital resources, advocacy, and community support that truly change lives. However, we cannot do it alone; we need your help to continue their important work.

We have set a joint fundraising target of £400 for this event, and every contribution counts! Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving—they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your gift directly to the charity, making it the most efficient way to contribute—saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Even a small donation of just £1 can make a significant difference in someone's life. Please consider donating today and join us in supporting this wonderful cause!
