Story

I wanted to take a moment to share some news with you regarding two ladies in our wonderful team.

Sharon and Andrea have both recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. This news has deeply impacted us all, and we wanted to share it with you as a valued part of our extended community.

In solidarity with Sharon and Andrea, we're organising a meaningful charity event that not only supports our staff but also contributes to the global fight against breast cancer. We are asking our Footsteppers to join us and walk 11km together around Pitsford Reservoir for a cause that touches the lives of millions.

Breast Friends Northamptonshire was founded in 2017 by 3 women undergoing breast cancer treatment. Their goal is to provide support, promote prevention, and foster community for those facing breast cancer in Northamptonshire. With support from Macmillan Cancer Support and healthcare professionals, the group became a registered charity, offering peer support and organizing events and meetings Their committee of members run events, meetings and coffee mornings and ensure the needs of the members are met.

To sign up for our walk, please do so via the Footsteps website:
