Jo and James are taking on the Dragon Boat Race 2026 for Home-Start family charity 💙 on Saturday 29th August in Arundel. Home-Start is a local charity that's just reached an incredible milestone of helping their 10,000th child and family.

Home-Start has been supporting families in our local area since 1999. We believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life and volunteers work alongside parents to help them build confidence, strengthen bonds and overcome challenges.

Home-Start supports families who are struggling — whether that’s with mental health, isolation, financial pressures, or just the overwhelming reality of parenting. Jo is a trained volunteer who works alongside parents to offer emotional and practical support to help them build confidence, feel less alone, and create a safer, happier home for their children.

We are asking for your support because the work they do is genuinely life-changing to children, their families and your local community.

Right now, more families than ever are facing really tough challenges — and support like this can make all the difference.
