In January 2024, JoJo, one of our Sales Advisors at the “Garden Furniture Outlet”, sadly lost her much loved Nana “Josie” to Bladder Cancer. JoJo decided that at some point, she’d like to host a cake event to raise awareness / funds for this particular type of cancer in memory of her Nana. (Josie had a sweet tooth and always loved desserts & cakes!)

To tie in with the Outlet closing down, we therefore decided to host a “Farewell Coffee & Cakes” drop-in for customers/work colleagues/friends/family etc, to pop in and say cheerio to Jo and Sarah, with any donations received for refreshments going to this charity.

Fight Bladder Cancer (FBC) was founded and is run by patients and carers and how now grown to become the most active advocacy group and charity for bladder cancer in the UK.

FBC provides information and support to everyone affected by bladder cancer, runs national and local awareness campaigns, supports medical research into better treatments and campaigns at the highest levels to turn the spotlight on this much-neglected cancer.

We can only do our work with the support of individuals across the country who make fundraise and donate to us.
