I'm lucky to work for a truly unique company with some absolutely amazing people where we aim everyday to provide magical memories to our guests. At Chessington World of Adventures we can see the delight on the faces of our young guests - whether on a ride, enjoying a show or watching our animals. For some though, life is not easy and experiencing that magic is a challenge. Merlin's Magic Wand works with families, schools, hospitals, special educational needs centres, treatment centres and hospices to provide magical days out, magic spaces and to take the magic to children who are terminally ill or facing challenging circumstances.

I feel very privileged to be offered a place by Merlin's Magic Wand to run for them at the 2025 London Marathon. London has been secretly on my wish list for a very long time and to be offered this opportunity is a dream come true. And so, the hard work begins - to raise funds for this very special charity and to get the legs in gear!
