Story
A few years ago someone I didn’t know very well, but well enough to know was a lovely lady, passed away surrounded by her two young sons and family. The local Sue Ryder hospice made these horrendous days the best they could be and I know the family were truly grateful. Until then I didn’t know that this place survived on donations alone and I have been supporting this wonderful cause ever since.
This year on 10 May I am lapping the lake to raise funds for the wonderful nurses who work there. Please consider donating (even though those who know me know it is not a hardship to jump in a cold lake!).
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
