Welcome to the Run 100 Miles in February Challenge for the American Cancer Society! You are joining the American Cancer Society, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people facing cancer and their families.

Story

On February 6, I'm hitting the big 5-0 and to "celebrate" I'm running 100 miles during the month of February to help the American Cancer Society fight cancer. The miles I run will be in honor of several strong women who have engaged in the battle and beaten cancer, and a few who lost their lives too early to cancer, including my mother-in-law, Gitte (an accomplished runner).
