Marlborough St Mary’s will open a new Nursery and Family Centre in September 2027. Endorsed by the Department for Education, the nursery will accommodate an ambitious, purpose-built community hub enabling education, health, and family support services to work together under one roof. The provision of dedicated spaces for professional collaboration will secure a bespoke model of education and support that aims to transform lives across Marlborough.

As a member of the team dedicated to the funding of this project, I am running the Bournemouth half marathon so that the children who attend the nursery will be able to access the best possible start in life. As a runner of advanced years, I am not going to break any land speed records. Instead, my goal is that each step will make a difference to children and families who deserve every opportunity to lead safe, happy and healthy lives.
