Story

I am taking part in the Great North Run this September as part of the Ataxia team so I can help achieve the ambitious goal of raising £10,000 for crucial ataxia research & support.

I'm not a fabulous runner so I won't be very fast but this is very close to my heart and so would appreciate a little sponsor as your involvement to help crucial progress for progress to a cure!

Thank you for your support, it is very appreciated :-) xx

What is Ataxia?

Ataxia, a rare disease, affects 10,500 people in the UK, & is a degenerative neurological condition affecting balance, speech, & co-ordination. It disrupts someone’s ability to control their body, to communicate & to have agency over their lives. Unfortunately, at this moment, there is no cure!
