As many of you know I’ve been caring for my mum for many years. Over this time I’ve watched her health, mobility and her interest in things she once loved decline

She rarely goes out now and at 91 time isn’t on her side, but she knows where she wants to be when that time comes…if she has the choice she wants to be in her own home, in familiar surroundings with people she recognises around her.

Kate’s Home Nursing is an incredible, local charity that makes this possible - their nurses provide hospice-care-at-home for those who wish to be at home at the end of their lives, offering comfort, dignity and support to their patients and loved ones ❤️

I’ve been running on and off for years but never called myself a ‘runner’ so after getting a place in the London Marathon ballot I’ve had to up my game….a lot!!!!

Its going to be incredibly hard and every step is going to hurt but if I can raise a few £’s along the way for this amazing charity then it’ll all be worth it
