Replacement camera for NCI Newhaven

Jo Pettitt is raising money for National Coastwatch Institution
NCI is a voluntary organisation keeping watch for people in trouble along the coastline. Our watchkeepers provide the "eyes and ears" along the coast, supporting the Coastguard, RNLI and rescue services. We are totally reliant on donations to continue our contribution to safety along the coast.

Story

A very expensive piece of NCI Newhaven’s coastal monitoring kit was damaged irreparably this week. This specialist camera enabled the NCI volunteer watch-keepers to view the area beneath the cliffs, keeping beach-goers, walkers and paragliders safe.

NCI, a charity funded only by donations, will struggle to afford the costly replacement.

Any amount you can give, big or small, towards helping this lifesaving charity fit a new camera will be greatly appreciated.

More about NCI:

National Coastwatch looks out for people in difficulties along the coast, our 2,800 volunteer Watchkeepers maintain a visual, radar and radio lookout from over 60 Stations.

We report to the UK Coastguard and work with other Emergency Services to help a timely and effective rescue for boaters, kayakers, swimmers, fishermen and hikers.

We are entirely funded by donations.
