Story
On October 12th, 2025, Will and I will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity — a cause that’s incredibly close to our hearts.
We’re running in memory of my wonderful mum, Claire Sanders, who was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma in January 2019. After facing every challenge with incredible strength and grace, she passed away in March 2023.
Though Mum would have been the first to say she hated running, I’ve found real comfort in it — and in doing something that feels meaningful in her memory. Every step we take on that day will be for her, and for all those affected by this devastating disease.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading organisation dedicated to fighting brain tumours. They fund life-changing research, provide vital support, and are relentlessly focused on improving survival and quality of life. Because when someone you love is diagnosed with a brain tumour, finding a cure can’t wait.
Thank you for reading, and for any support you can give — it truly means the world. 💙
