Story
As you know, I work for an amazing charity called Sebastian's Action Trust. We're a small local charity which supports children with life-limiting conditions and those who love them.
At our centre, The Bluebells, we offer a welcoming and supportive environment where families facing unimaginable challenges can connect, share and be understood. We give families the opportunity to recharge, have fun and enjoy the activities and experiences that many families take for granted, while making precious memories together.
I've seen first-hand the difference our support can make, and that's why I'm taking on the 100 Miles in October challenge.
I'm not the most sporty of people, so this challenge will give me the motivation I need to dust off my trainers and get active. I'll be joined by my two canine companions, Bertie and Rupert, who are very happy that I'm taking part. As well as dog walks, I'll be covering some of the distance in the pool, getting on my bike for the first time this decade, and even notching up some vertical metres on the climbing wall.
Please sponsor me today and support this fabulous charity! Thank you.
