1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. I already have numerous friends and family who’ve battled against cancer the last few years - two of whom sadly lost their lives in their 40’s.

To challenge myself, I signed up to cycle 50 miles in the hope I could raise £10 per mile to fund research into cancer treatments.

I have been training since 2 January with my first 12 mile ride at a somewhat chilly 2 degrees.
