For 35 years, Hilbrae has been a lifeline for stray and abandoned dogs in Telford and the surrounding area. Over 21,000 stray dogs have been rescued from Telford alone — and for every single one, time or money has never been a reason to give up on their life.

But right now, Hilbrae needs urgent help.

The council kindly funds the first 7 days of care for each stray dog. After that, every kennel, meal, vet treatment and warm bed is paid for entirely by donations from the public.

Our current kennels and facilities are now tired and in urgent need of rebuilding to remain safe, warm and fit for the thousands of dogs who will need us in the years ahead.

We are fundraising to raise £50,000 to rebuild these vital facilities and secure Hilbrae’s future.

Your donation will directly fund:

1) Safe, warm kennels for rescued dogs and improved welfare facilities and exercise areas.

2) Sustainable care for every dog beyond the council’s 7-day funding.
