Story
Hello everyone,
This September I'll be taking on a 300ft bungee jump to raise money for people living with Type 1 diabetes—and I'll definitely be stepping well outside my comfort zone!
I've been living with Type 1 diabetes for the past 14 years, since I was just 7 years old. It's been a rollercoaster at times, and while technology and treatment have come a long way, living with diabetes is still a daily challenge that never takes a day off.
Every donation will go to my local diabetes team, helping to fund events such as summer barbecues, activity weekends and Christmas parties. These aren't just fun days out—they give children, young people and families the chance to meet others who truly understand what they're going through. They provide support, education, confidence and friendships that can last a lifetime.
I would also like to take a moment to sincerely thank the incredible Paediatric team here in Worcestershire. They are truly selfless individuals who go above and beyond to support children and their families, often during the most difficult of times.
Without their dedication, compassion and tireless efforts, we simply wouldn’t be where we are today. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything you have done, and everything you continue to do for every child and family in your care. We are incredibly grateful.
If you're able to donate, no matter how big or small, I'd be incredibly grateful. Every penny will help continue these amazing opportunities while also supporting the ongoing improvements in diabetes care and technology, bringing us one step closer to an even better future.
Thank you so much for your support—it genuinely means the most.
