I've trained for 8 months now, with only 1 month to go! I'm seeking your support to get me through the final weeks of intense training, and across the finish line, while raising funds for street children through Harmony House in India.

I’m finally competing in the Challenge Roth Triathlon in Germany on 25th June 2023, an iconic full distance Ironman event which is amongst the biggest in the sport. This means 3.8km of swimming, 180km of cycling, and 42.2km of running all of which will probably take around 12hrs to complete.

I had entered before in 2020 and trained for almost 1 year, however due to Covid the event had been cancelled. Securing one of the 5,000 entry slots is very difficult and when I got a place for 2023, the year I am turning 50, I knew I had to commit. It's now or never !

When the opportunity came up to support Harmony House, a charity aligned with the UN sustainable development goals, where donations will also be matched by my employer, I thought the stars are aligned for this fundraiser.

Harmony House is comprised of two day-care shelters based in Delhi, India, in which they support and educate over 1,000 children. They aim to give each child the childhood they deserve and a chance to learn, grow, and most importantly be empowered. The charity helps generate self reliant, confident and resourceful individuals who are able to step into the community and contribute to those around them. I am planning to visit Harmony House personally with my children later this year, and I would be happy to report back on how any donations are being spent and used.
