Lucky Ewe aims to give people with additional support needs of any kind the chance to experience farming, animal husbandry and food production at a pre-entry level. Our placements aim to build skills and experience at Lucky Ewe to help them progress towards employment.

Story

I will be part of the team Kilt Walking for funds for Lucky Ewe, a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) based in North East Fife. Personally I am walking the 11 mile route. Lucky Ewe is dedicated to providing outdoor and rural skills to individuals with additional support needs. Through the use of a flock of dairy sheep, Lucky Ewe creates a supportive and calming environment where people can experience farming, animal husbandry, and food production at a pre-entry level. Our goal is to offer pathways to new job opportunities, volunteering roles, and beneficial placements for those in need within the community. Your support means the world to us as I strive to reach my £1000 as part of our fundraising target of £10,000 for Lucky Ewe as set up costs for our new premises - Lucky Ewe Farm. Specifically your donation will go towards Orchard set up costs.

By donating through JustGiving, you can make a massive difference while ensuring that your contribution, of whatever amount you want to give, reaches the charity efficiently and securely. Thank you for considering our cause and joining us on this inspiring journey. You can take part in theKilt Walk too, if you feel inspired.
