As a strong supporter of public libraries and public education I am proud of Evanston Public schools and the Evanston Public Library. Both are great examples of the good work that these precious institutions can do in their communities. The Evanston Public Library has, over the years, run an amazing program, ABC Boosters. This program gets pre-k students ready to enter kindergarten in the fall. As we know through many studies, kindergarten success is a proven step on the road to lifelong academic success. This year, due to circumstances beyond their control, EPL needs our help to continue ABC Boosters. Please consider a generous donation to ensure no child gets left behind because of a lack of funds.
