I find it heartbreaking that so many people are sleeping rough, many of whom have issues with their mental health and need and deserve help, support and understanding. I see so many vulnerable, homeless people in Liverpool every week, and I just want to contribute a little to the great work of the Whitechapel Centre if I can. I’ll be undertaking the 5mile Waterfront Walk on 1st March and I’d really appreciate any donations that my friends and family members can make: the biggest challenge for me is the 6am start!!

The Whitechapel Centre is a leading homeless and housing charity for the Liverpool region. We work with people who are sleeping rough, living in hostels or struggling to manage their accommodation. We are committed to help people to find and maintain a home and learn the life skills essential for independent living.

We work with over 4,000 people a year. Our projects reflect the diverse routes into and out of homelessness. A variety of services, in different settings, complement each other and ensure no one slips through the net of support.
