Mum fed the birds every day. Before we were all advised not to, she'd moisten bread to put out so that the locals would get liquid as well as food. She then moved onto seed, of course. She had a favourite blackbird for some time in the Eighties.

We inherited that love, and Mum would have been delighted if you could give anything you can to the RSPB, an impeccable organization who do so much good in conservation around the world.
