Story
Hospice of the Good Shepherd provides its services free of charge to its patients and costs £5.6million to run each year with just 17% of the funding we receive coming from statutory sources. The remaining 83% is raised from a range of fundraising activities and the support of our the generous local community in Cheshire. In addition, they raise money through their local charity shops and weekly lottery.
We are taking part to raise money in memory of my grandad, who received such compassionate care and support from the hospice. This is our way of honouring him and giving something back to the place that helped him and our family- when we needed it the most. Every donation helps the hospice to continue their incredible work for others, just as they did for my grandad.
