Challenge for Change is a worldwide movement fuelled by a shared commitment to children’s futures. Together, throughout September, we will cover 41,000 kilometres, the distance around the globe, to raise funds for local charities that provide life-changing support to children in need.
Every step, every stroke, every km, every effort contributes to a brighter future, transforming the lives of children through emotional, educational, and financial support.
I am walking and swimming for my part in Challenge for Change raising money for Launchpad Reading. Launchpad work towards ending homelessness in Reading by providing temporary and long term homes for those who do not have a clean, safe or a stable place to live in. They also offer a work and life skills centre where they teach practical skills such as IT and cooking along side developing confidence and self esteem.
A wonderful charity serving those who are homeless or in danger of being homeless in Reading.
