Story
On 4 October 2026, I’ll be taking on the Manchester Half Marathon in support of Mustard Tree.
I’m raising money for Mustard Tree because they’re right here in our community, supporting people across Greater Manchester who are facing poverty, homelessness and inequality.
As a Manchester local, I’ve known about Mustard Tree for years. I’ve wandered around their shop, picked up the odd bargain, and seen first-hand how much they do for the local community. They’re one of those organisations quietly getting on with helping people every single day.
So over the next few months I’ll be swapping lie-ins for long runs, and attempting to convince my legs that running for over two hours is a perfectly reasonable thing to do.
If you’d like to support me and Mustard Tree, any donation would mean a lot.
And if nothing else, please consider sponsoring me for voluntarily running 21.1 kilometres when absolutely nobody asked me to.
Thank you for your support 💗
