Hi! I'm Joanna and I'm preparing for my first marathon on April 13th in Paris. This is a huge personal challenge, and I would like to take this opportunity to raise funds for animal charity Lucas Helps Dogs, which helps street dogs and cats in Sri Lanka and was founded by my dear friend Ali Warburton. About 6 million dogs and 3 million cats live on the street in Sri Lanka. Unfortunately they are often mistreated, malnourished, and left without any veterinary help to treat diseases or injuries caused by road accidents. Lucas Helps Dogs helps street dogs and cats by carrying out regular sterilisation and vaccination clinics, feeding rounds, emergency treatments and education of the local population about animal welfare. To help support these dogs and cats living hard lives on Sri Lanka’s streets please donate. Even a small amount goes a huge way to helping an animal in need. If you want to learn more about the charity visit Lucas Helps Dogs website : www.lucashelpsdogs.com or follow https://www.instagram.com/lucashelpsdogs for daily updates.

Thanks a lot for any donation, and please, keep your fingers crossed for me on the 13th of Apri :)
