Over 75,000 young people in the UK need to use a wheelchair to be mobile.

Unfortunately, they cannot access the equipment that meets their needs through local services. Whizz Kidz are the UK’s leading charity supporting young wheelchair users up to 25 years old. They empower young wheelchair users with the equipment, support, and confidence-building experiences they need to take an active role in society. The Whizz Kidz goal is to create a movement for progress towards a more open and accessible world.

Jo has worked for Whizz Kidz for nine years and seen first hand the impact it has had on the lives of thousands of children and young people. £60 will deliver a session of Wheelchair Skills Training, making children and young people independent and confident in their equipment

£100 allows an Engineer to do a visit to a child to tailor a piece of equipment perfectly to their needs

£1650 provides a four year old with life changing powered mobility equipment, giving them independence and confidence to play with their friends.
