Trifork UK's Charity Walk for Prostate Cancer Research

Joanna Galt is raising money for Prostate Cancer Research
In memory of Mark Cowan

Thames Walk · 18 October 2026

People affected by prostate cancer need breakthrough treatments. Research is the only way to turn this hope into reality. Combining patient stories and scientific expertise, we fund projects that have a real impact, reducing side-effects, cutting treatment costs and ultimately improving outcomes.

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page!

The Trifork UK Group is walking 13 miles along the Thames Path in memory of our colleague Mark Cowan, who recently lost the battle with Prostate Cancer. When Mark found out he had Prostate Cancer, he was determined to fight it publicly, and use his experience as a way to raise awareness of preventative measures. We are raising money for Prostate Cancer Research in honour of Mark Cowan's life and to continue raising awareness on his behalf.

Prostate Cancer Research are dedicated to creating brand new prostate cancer treatments. Prostate cancer is now the most diagnosed cancer in the UK and 11,500 men die from the disease every year. People affected by prostate cancer need breakthrough treatments, and research is the only way to turn this hope into reality.

Their vision is clear; a world where people are free from the impact of prostate cancer. We are part of #TeamPCR because we share this vision. Will you help us support their research?
