The First Steps Hostel situated on Queen Street provides short-term temporary accommodation for rough sleepers or those at risk of rough sleeping in the Rotherham area. We accommodate up to 7 residents at a time with each resident having their own bedroom and use of communal areas. First Steps Hostel is a joint project between Target Housing and RMBC offering 24 hour support with staff from both services on site during the week and security staff overnight. We provide intensive wrap-around support tailored to meet individual need. Residents are welcomed into a warm and friendly environment, provided with emotional support and help to develop life skills while being assisted to move on to secure, longer term accommodation.

we really need help for things at the hostel. the guys come here with nothing and we rely on donations to help them, we need toiletries . towels . games so we can have games nights with them. and money for activities
